I am in awe right now after watching this video!
The theme for Maddie’s 4th birthday is “Rainbows & Unicorns” (such a little girl!) so I’ve been on the hunt for some amazing homemade goodies that fit!
When I came across this video, I swear a bright light appeared, and I knew everything was going to be OK!…Or Maddie could have been pointing her laser pointer in my eye (because it’s the one place I said not to shine it)…either way, I’m so excited to try this!
Oh, and did I mention the Skittles flavored buttercream frosting? Ya, that too!
All you need for this recipe is a simple white cake mix, butter, icing sugar, water, milk, and a bunch of skittles.
I’ll be sure to share pics of mine when her birthday rolls around in May…hopefully it doesn’t end up looking like one of those Pinterest FAIL pics with a crying child in a birthday hat standing next to her mangled cake!
Do you like to try crazy recipes like this, or stick to the basics?
