I have to be honest here, in my world, Spaghetti Squash didn’t exist before last summer!
I’d never heard of it, never noticed it at the grocery store, and certainly had never eaten it!
It was my sister-in-law that opened my eyes to this delicious little secret squash, and our whole family absolutely adores it now!
Spaghetti squash can sometimes be seen as tricky to cook, but really it’s super easy, just unfamiliar is all! I’ll break it down for you below and you’ll be enjoying it for dinner in no time!
So, you’re probably asking, what’s so special about spaghetti squash?
How about the fact that it strings up like spaghetti!! It’s crazy how it comes apart once it’s cooked properly, and is a great gluten-free substitution for regular pasta!
There are so many recipes for how you can dress it up online, you could spend days looking through them! But our favorite continues to be just eating it as regular pasta, with tomato sauce and parmesan cheese…yum!
Now that you’ll know how to cook spaghetti squash, grab one next time you’re at the grocery store (they are oval shaped and yellow, and next to the other squash!), you wont be disappointed!
