How To Sun Bleach Stained Clothes
Step 1: Start with wet clothing!
While dry clothing will fade as well, this is much more effective when they start wet.
Step 2: Lay the item in full sun exposure.
Completely flat so all areas can be reach by the sunlight equally.
Step 3: Leave your items out in the sun for a fews hours at a time (4-5).
Leaving things out for days at a time may weaken the fabric, so make sure you stick to this guideline!
Step 4: For tougher/darker stains, spray stained areas.
Before laying out in the sun (to increase bleaching power) spray stained areas with a mixture of 1/4 cup lemon juice with 2 cups water.
Tougher stains may take a couple of ?sun sessions? to disappear completely.
