I’ve made this chickpea flatbread a few times, under different circumstances, for different uses, and can officially say that it is foolproof!
I’ve used this for dipping (try it with this Jalapeno Popper Dip….amaze!!!), and have even dressed it like a pizza, it’s always a hit!
If I haven’t won you over yet, this will do the trick! All you need is…wait for it…three ingredients…THREE! And one of them is WATER! If you can’t pull this one off, seriously, then you might have bigger problems to worry about than making your own flatbread!
This is a great gluten-free flatbread solution, so even people on gluten restricted diets can enjoy! And if you really wanna go all in on the homemade side of things, just throw dried chickpeas in your food processor and pulse until you have a fine powder…homemade chickpea flour!
The only part that can be a bit of a “ugh…really?!” is there is a wait time involved. I usually throw it together in a bowl late morning/lunch time, and then bake it for dinner time. But trust me, it’s well worth the wait!
*Note: Chickpea flour can also be called Garbanzo flour in store. I get mine at Bulk Barn and it was called Chick Pea flour there.
